Néstor Guerra is an entrepreneur, mentor, and professor.
He is currently CEO and cofounder of IEC, a startup dedicated to developing solutions for smart cities. He complements this role with that of being a Business Design & Lean Startup professor at the Industrial Organisation School EOI, teaching Postgraduates, MBAs and in-Company. He also teaches Innovation and Lean Startup at h2i Institute.
He is one of the most recognised experts in the field of Lean Startup entrepreneurship. He has been a speaker at important events such as TEDx, Expomanagement, Salón miEmprensa, ESL, EBE… as well as giving training, consulting, and mentoring about innovation and ‘intraprenuership’ using Lean Startup focuses in multinational companies from the IBEX35.
He is on the Lazarus Committee at the Fundación Caja Rural Castilla la Mancha as well as being a mentor on the Startup NEXT Google for Entrepreneur program, a mentor for Samba Health, Startup Dragon, Yuzz and sometimes collaborating in a number of important accelerators in Spain and Latin America. He is also a tutor for business projects at the Industrial Organisation School EOI.
He co-wrote the book: “España Lean Startup. El Estado Del Arte Del Emprendimiento Lean En España”, as well as penning various articles in prestigious magazines and blogs specialising in Lean Startup.
Néstor is a Telecommunications Engineer and has Executive MBA. He got a scholarship for the innovation program at Imagine Creative Center in San Francisco and for Babson College in Boston.
He gained over 10 years’ experience in development and management of technology businesses for defence, space, and manufacturing test and measurement. He was Services Director for Agilent Technologies EMG Spain for four years and won prizes for innovation projects on a European level.
