Nico was born in Buenos Aires in the 90s.
When his mum was pregnant with him, his dad would put headphones on the bump, so that Nico could listen to Pink Floyd, Scorpions, and Phil Collins. We can therefore say that he first encountered music before he’d ever opened his eyes.
Ever since he could remember, his dad had worked for the radio. So Nico grew up surrounded by rock posters, and of course always interested in music and art.
In 2008, when he finished school, he decided his carer couldn’t be in anything but the world of ideas. He didn’t know why, but when he saw TV ads, he knew they spoke to him on another level.
He wanted to tell stories that spoke to people like that. He began by studying a degree in Advertising at UCES, and then creativity at Brother creative school and at the School of Creative Advertising.
In 2014 he joined the creative team at R/GA in Buenos Aires, where he worked for three years for clients like Nike, Netflix, Samsung, Rexona, and winning awards at Cannes, El Ooo de Iberoamérica, D&AD, Diente, and beyond.
In 2016, after leading the under 30s rankings, the Argentine Creatives Circle awarded him the Young Creative of the Year award.
In 2017 he joined Picnic Buenos Aires to keep putting his creativity to good use whilst outside his comfort zone, learning to build brands more around authenticity than advertising.
