Head of Business Development
Originally from Naples, Sara enjoys a professional and personal life filled with new challenges and experiences. While proud of her Southern Italian roots, she has spent half of her life away from home, learning from each and every culture that she has encountered during her several moves around the world.
Her professional story begins in Milan, where she dived into the exciting world of Marketing and Brand Management. Always eager to learn, she started her career working for leading companies such as Young & Rubicam and Calzedonia, undertaking roles in advertising and trade. Subsequently, Sara moved to London to further her education, completing a master’s degree in Sustainable Event Management. But her first experience living abroad became one of several, with the ever-romantic Paris calling her to fulfill a Trade Marketing role for Danone. A year later, another dreamy opportunity arrived: working in New York.
The Big Apple had briefly been her home aged 20, when she studied at NYU. However this time, Sara had the opportunity – and responsibility – to represent the gastronomic excellence of her family limoncello, ‘Villa Massa’, promoting it alongside Italian culture and traditions in the US market.
After living in four different countries over eight years, Sara finally moved to Spain, where she contributed to turn Villa Massa into a global brand and gastronomic icon transcending local borders. Once such objective was achieved, Sara took on the challenge of managing Zamora Company’s core product: Licor 43, the best-selling Spanish liqueur globally. As Senior Global Brand Manager, she contributed to the brand’s growth by creating strategic trade and consumer platforms, launching new communication campaigns, managing PR plans, and organizing events, among other tasks.
Sara is passionate about numerology, inclusive and experiential artistic representations, and above all, personal growth. In 2020, she decided to enroll into two Life Coaching courses, one for individuals and the other for leadership and teams. Upon completion, she launched her own coaching business to help people find their life purpose: Passiflora Coaching.
Naturally curious and motivated, Sara has delved into various studies and activities during her adult life, including ceramics, tarot reading, flamenco, African dance, burlesque, improvisational theatre and playing trombone. Multilingual and cosmopolitan, she speaks Italian, English, Spanish, French, and she is currently learning Portuguese. She loves to travel and was lucky enough to explore more than 30 countries. She adores visiting coastal cities with a decadent touch like Lisbon, Istanbul and Rio de Janeiro. While enjoying art, gastronomy, and culture, her greatest passion lies in helping businesses and individuals rediscover their purpose.
