Diego Luque

Founder & Chief Strategy Officer Latam

Diego Luque is one of the most recognized brand strategists in Latin America, thanks to the hybrid nature of his career, which bridges marketing, communication, and innovation.

Before founding Picnic alongside Alex Pallete, he served as Director of Strategy Innovation at Ogilvy, Brand Communication Director for Nike Southern Cone, Head of Planning at the former VegaOlmosPonce, and Marketing Director for Levi’s Latin America. He also worked at Renault, Arcor, and other leading companies.

He has led regional and global projects for brands such as Unilever, Coca-Cola, Visa, IBM, Toyota, and Nestlé, collaborating with a wide range of industries and combining strategy with cultural sensitivity.

He was named among Argentina's 50 Most Innovative People by Apertura Magazine. He served as President of APG Argentina, founded the first communication startup competition in the Southern Cone, and has been a jury member at festivals like Cannes Lions and the Effie Awards. He is also a mentor, a professor at IAE and other business and communication schools, an angel investor in tech startups, and a speaker on topics related to branding and innovation.

PASSIONS

He combines strategic thinking with a deep cultural perspective. He is passionate about brands that transform, stories that provoke, and writing essays that connect business ideas with signals from the world. In her free time, cinema, music, and reading (from Bowie to Black Mirror, from Borges to The New Yorker) are an essential part of her creative process.
